Dear friends,

My idol John Lennon once sang – ‘Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans’. This amazing lyric pretty much encapsulated my life story, over the past few years. A period filled with both beautiful and challenging life events that revealed itself in the midst of getting through everyday life. Some of the best laid plans often didn’t work out but that was not necessarily a bad thing. Adjusting and evolving was key.The one constant in my life throughout all this has always been my music. It sustains and takes up so much of what happens in my life, that I find it almost impossible to ignore creativity when it strikes. It becomes an obsession that drives me to ride it out and see where it takes me. This is the reason why we are here right now. The past few inspired months, has coaxed a whole bunch of new songs out of me. Songs that I never planned on becoming part of a new album but knew that I needed to get them out of my system. But I also realised that I didn’t want to do this alone and needed a collaborator that can push and take me out of my creative comfort zone (which I know can err on the safe and familiar side at times). Enter my tremendously talented and long time friend, JJ Extremera from Barcelona, Spain. I am a huge fan of his music, both as a Producer and writer/performer. It was an easy and instinctual choice to make this brilliant man, this record’s producer and sonic architect.

So where are we at now? Well, we started work on the album back in October 2024 in Javi’s studio in Barcelona (Little Momo Studios). The songs being performed by my Spanish musical family (Javi, Jon Zuriaga, Juan Carlos Luque & Santi Campos), whilst I lay down my parts in my hometown of Sydney. I guess this is technically my first Internationally made record and a new and exciting way for me to make an album. We’re quite chuffed at what’s coming out of our speakers and think that you will dig it too. I’m aiming for a June 2025 digital release, with the vinyl copy by July.I am now humbly asking you to help me finish this record by going on my Pozible crowdfunding page and choosing a Digital and/or Vinyl pre-order of this new record (250 copies only!). Other reward packs to consider too are Vinyl/CD bundles and house or venue concert options for my Sydney backers. Your support will mean that I will be able to cover the cost of pressing/shipping of the vinyl, some recording studio time and the mastering of the final tracks. This is an all or nothing campaign, which means that if we don’t hit the target of $7k, no funding will come to me. Hoping it doesn’t come to that folks!
